Hey guys I’ve been dealing with an overheating issue on my 2012 JKU Rubicon. I replaced the thermostat twice with aftermarket units, because Mopar units had been on back order for a year, and it would still run too hot climbing a hill or when accelerating. What I found is, the aftermarket units are not only junk but are assembled with the spring upside down! I noticed the new one in this video has the spring upside down also! Another thing with most aftermarket units is the struts the spring retainer is mounted on are too short! This reduces the amount the thermostat can open! I have however found an aftermarket on Amazon that is not junk, has the taller struts like the OEM, and is made with an aluminum housing! It’s sold under the name MILIPARTS. I hope this helps. Jimmy

At 8:05 you mention some leaking at the bottom door frame where you have the step guard. Might be a coincidence, but I installed the aftermarket step guard like yours and started getting water on my floor. Removed them and waiting to see if that helps. I’m also going to install the kit on my freedom panels.

Dual stabilizers mean twice the resistance, one is more than enough even for 37s 2 means you're giving the steering box extra work I would not recommend it, but that's just me Just get one good one👍

For the oil filter I use a large red beer cup. Wrap it around the filter and untighten it- the oil dripping out will be caught by the cup and not run down your arm.

Any leaks yet? I just installed the same kit on my 2015 jku today. The two small long strips i overlaped the top of the weird puzzle looking peices. Because there was previously a strip overlapping that original piece before i removed it.

Hey does your jeep have side curtain airbags? If so you have disabled then by putting the hand grips over them. I have a 2917 and am trying to find a set that doesn't obstruct the air bags
